The President of the Horticultural Federation (FHL), Ernest Brandenburger, and the representative of the City of Luxembourg, Mr Bauer, warmly welcomed the young professionals. The Minister for Agriculture, Mr Haagen, and the Minister for Tourism, Mr Delles, emphasised the great importance of the profession in their speeches. Especially in times of climate change, horticulture is making a major contribution to solving our climate problems. Although Luxembourg City already ranks eighth in the world ranking of the greenest cities, there will be no let-up in planning further green spaces.
